First introduced in 1975, the RaceQuip brand has built a reputation for manufacturing and distributing high-quality auto racing safety equipment. The SFI and FIA-rated auto racing and motorsports safety gear manufactured by RaceQuip is recognized by and designed for use in almost any racing series or sanction.
The RaceQuip PRO20 is a Snell SA2020 rated full face auto racing helmet that incorporates contemporary styling with modern production techniques. The shell is built using pre-preg composite materials placed into pressurized steel molds to achieve the best combination of lightweight and strength. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts are mated to the shell along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint device anchor posts (not included) can be easily attached to the outside of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts. Cheek pads are held in by hook and loop so they can be removed for cleaning and adjusting. The distortion-free 3mm polycarbonate faceshield features a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, hand ratcheting TearOff posts, and a silicone eyeport gasket to seal out dust and dirt. A wide eye port provides good peripheral vision and allows the use of personal eyewear. The Snell SA rating means that the interior, paint, and kevlar chin strap are all fire retardant so the RaceQuip PRO20 Helmet is suitable for use in all forms of motorsports. The comfort fit blended Nomex interior along with exhaust vents on the top and back of the shell help keep your scalp cool. All these features are wrapped in a stylish aero design FRP composite shell with a medium-sized chin spoiler. The result is the outstanding value delivered by the RaceQuip PRO20 full face helmet. Available in Gloss White, Gloss Black, Gloss Steel, Hot Pink, Corsa Red, Flat Black, and America Graphic in sizes XX-Small – 3XL

Prefect for 1st Track day
Prefect helmet for my first track day(this was a very popular option, as about 10 others had the same one. I initially brought the wrong size, but was able to return with zero issues. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t be happier
Was purchased for my husband as a Christmas gift and he couldn’t be happier!! All the other sites where back ordered and it would not have gotten here in time. This one came early and was exactly how it was decided and pictured. Now to start racing!

Great value for money
Great helmet with a good matte black finish. Perfect for someone who isn’t looking to spend a lot of money but needs a good safety rated helmet. Wish it had some ventilation up front because the visor can fog up but you can just keep the visor open. Came with a red bag for it too.

Medium is for round faces….
Quality SA2020 rated helmet for reasonable money. Great price for an entry level SA rig for autox or HPDE days. Built in anchor mounts and hardware are great. Be aware that the fit is off a bit. I wear medium in Shoei, Arai and Bell but this one in medium is sloppy. Hopefully they make interchangeable cheek inserts like Shoei and Arai do.10.00 to return even with PrimeBummer that they dont offer larger cheek pads!

My first helmet
As a first helmet I have no idea what to look for. So just my first impression is presented below. What I like about it:- perfect fit. I ordered M size for my head with 57 cm with some change. With no balaclava it fits perfectly, nice and snuggle, sits as the instructions direct- I can hear things outside, so I won’t be deaf, but at the same time it dampens the sound a bit, which makes sense for a track use- the protective screen stays up in pretty much any position. I realize that with time it might get looser, but the design seems to consider it- padding feels nice and nothing bothers me, but I have nothing to compare it to- chin strap is easy to use and from the feel of it it doesn’t slip. Also it is very thoughtful of R&D to have a release mini-strip on the loop as loosening the helmet with gloves on might be a challenge- I totally love the non-gloss black color, looks really cool!- it comes with a very nice soft carry case protecting it from scratchesWhat I don’t like about it:- I couldn’t find the non-gloss black helmet with not-pink hardware. Not a big issue, but it looks kind of out of place. I realize it’s just the first impression and it’s only for me- the new smell is not that pleasant but while test fitting the helmet I kind of got used to it, so it’s not terrible, should air out fastIf I don’t report back on it, then the helmet does it’s job and I’m perfectly satisfied with it.
